My name is Seán O'Connor, i'm 21 years old and from Dublin, Ireland. I have always had a huge interest in sport from a young age, particularly in football and GAA, playing and attending matches at home and across Europe.

I've been lucky enough to witness how the pure power of sport can bring people together, make grown men weep and create unforgettable memories for all.

Recently I have become hugely interested in the world of sports journalism, reading daily articles and enjoying podcasts. I have begun writing some pieces myself about my team Chelsea, alongside some League of Ireland pieces, with the aim of developing and improving my writing skills. I am hoping to begin a Master of Journalism next year.
